Tim talks with Brittni Cooper, Community Resource Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast about the program and how it serves the youth in the 239 and beyond.  Tim and Brittni discuss the needs of the program, with an emphasis on recruiting, as they are currently in need of Bigs (adult mentors) to help service our youth. The program offers Community-Based mentoring and School-Based mentoring for the littles (our youth). In 2020-2021 the program impacted over 1500 children facing adversity and matched several youth in need with Bigs. BBBS urges you to get involved and give our youth an opportunity for success.

#095 | Tiger Shot Deputy Saves a Life | Did the tiger attack? | Man jumps a fence and places his hand into the cage!

239 Uncensored; Tim, Shannon and Diana talk about the recent incident at the Naples Zoo. According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, a third-party cleaner (male worker), went in an unauthorized area of the zoo and put his hand through the enclosure and was bitten by the Tiger "Eko". The Tiger would not release his arm and continued pulling on the worker's arm causing serious injury, potentially life threatening. Deputies responded and shot Eko, the tiger after initial attempts to get the tiger to release failed. 

Tim, Shannon and Diana discuss how this unfolded and why the response was handled the way it was.
