Tim has a fun-filled discussion with LAPD Commander Beverly Lewis (Ret.) on the trials and tribulations of patrolling the street of one of the largest cities in America, Los Angeles! The Commander discusses how law enforcement has changed in the last 30 years, the amount of equipment, gear and technology that an officer must carry. Tim and Beverly give big kudos to the millennial's that patrol our street today, as they sometimes get a bad rap from the old guard. Are the LAPD police show factual, do they get it right? not according to Beverly, with the exception of Bosch (TV show seen on Amazon). Working in Hollywood, Beverly has lived is all, she talks about arresting Spiderman and Chewbacca on the same day... Chewbacca got mouthy and went to the Jail! Tim (law enforcement officer) has a candid conversation with Collier County's "Cannabis Queen" Shannon Livingston about her role in educating on the use of medical marijuana "cannabis" in our community. Shannon talks about her assisting in "Weed" classes that are held Florida Gulf Coast University, she advised enrollment and attendance is very high (no pun intended). Shannon offers free and confidential cannabis educational classes to the SWFL community. We also discuss recreational use and future legalization in Florida and the impacts it may have on Lee and Collier Counties.
